DISRESPECT INCORPORATED has been a dream of mine for many years. I wanted to start a mail order company that would cater to people who were iconoclastic, irreverent, or social outcasts by choice (or, just people who chose to be dicks because it made them happy). Now, I don't just mean generic misfits, nerds or whatever social caste people might associate with this group of people. I meant for my company to target, specifically, those who strived to think for themselves and to trust their own judgement and give the middle finger to what anyone else thought.

The problem is, starting a mail order company takes time, energy and alot of money for catalogs, inventory, etc. Before the Internet, you had alot of direct mailings and magazine ads to buy (and full color catalogs are expensive). I, like most of us, simply didn't have a few hundred thousand around to take a chance like this, especially when all the conventional wisdom says, "follow the trend!"

That problem has been solved, however, with the advent of services like cafepress (and the Internet itself) which allow global self-expression on a shoe-string. So, now that I can do it affordably, I have done it!

And now that my dream is a reality, I can finally tell you, the person I've intended for the last decade to reach, exactly what I've always wanted to tell you, now, and in the future:

GO BUY SOME OF MY FUCKING STUFF!!

Seriously, I have alot of products in there that make fun of stupidity, injustice, and lameness of all kinds. I spoof the most powerful people and organizations in the world, I topple legends, I support pot smoking. In other words, there's something for everyone with a bad attitude.
